please help with results

33 yr old male 250 lbs , 6 ' , been on testosterone injections for 10 yrs , have been having anxiety and high blood pressure so endo did 24 urine test twice , these are the results of 2nd test which are similar to first , please let me knw what to think cause endo wont answer my calls until my appt in a month but im nervous !!!

only reason i was scared becasue it says on the paperwork that a 4 fold elevation of urinary normetanephrines is extremely likely to be due to a tumor .says that about top 4 tess ( scary right )

anyway if someone can chime in that would be great , advise , what to do next , what tests to ask for , etc

I am not a doctor, but it looks like you are out of range for the pheo testing. For cortisol, there is a 24 hour test for cortisol (ah, another jug!), 8am tests for cortisol and ACTH, and if the doc is good, they will test your adrenals for renin, aldosterone, dhea-s, and do more comprehensive testing of the entire endocrine system as cortisol pretty much can effect most hormones. Cortisol lowers testosterone - that is why I am thinking Cushing's. I don't know if a pheo does that. Or at least, I have not heard that.

It looks like they are testing you for a pheo tumor. Do you have a CT or MRI that shows a lesion on your adrenal gland? They should also test your cortisol as elevated cortisol lowers testosterone so you are treating a symptom but not finding a source - as well, cortisol can cause anxiety and raise blood pressure.

Do you have any other symptoms?
