You likely should go to Al-Anon where you can meet people like yourself who are family member of an alcoholic. The first step for someone like you is to accept you are powerless to affect the alky, and you will meet people there from all walks of life who are in varying stages of figuring that out. Some never do and waste their life because they are very busy caught up in the drama from all the problems the alky creates. So that is more reason to go, since it gives you a better chance of getting a fresh perspective on your life and what is involved when dealing with an alky.
