Which is worse, alcohol or marijuana?

Just curious.....is alcohol worse than marijuana in terms of damage done to the body?

i smoked pot daily for 17 years.i was addicted to it psychologically.It definitely affected my short term memory,mathmatical reasoning and depth perception.It affects the body differently than alcohol, but for those of us who are addicts/alcoholics it can lead to a full relapse of a persons drug/drink of choice!I am glad to be free of its tentacles and plege to abstain from it and alcohol!

As odd as it sounds I had no idea all this time as I have always thought, like a lot more people out there, that marijuana was worse for a person maybe because of all those ads about being "Above the Influence".

Hi Elfen, I agree with ibizan. Both are very different drugs - marijuana / pot addicion is mainly psychological and does not have the same heavy long-term effects on the body that alcohol has.

i think the research would say alcohol does more damage than pot to the body!
