Hello. I guess the question now is, does he take it before or during work? Or does he take it before bed? Best wishes, GM
Thanks to you all for responding, He takes the CVS generic brand like Benadryl and he does work 3rd shift-(11 pm to 7 am)
would be helpful to know the name of the over the counter remedy this person is taking. Many take Benadryl to sleep many will take others to rev up!I am allergic to this stuff and it acts like a speed on me!
Hello. I'm making an assumption that you're referring to a generic form of benadryl, or diphenhydramine. This is commonly found in nighttime pain relievers such as tylenol PM, as it causes drowsiness. In addition to its antihistamine effects, it is also used as a sleep aid. One of the symptoms of chronic alcohol abuse is insomnia, as heavy drinkers eventually reach a point where they no longer sleep properly, but pass out instead. This could be the purpose of using such a medication. Hope this helps and take care, GM
Pseudoephedrine is still in some allergy tabs and liquid cold remedies but they are kept under the counter and one is photographed when they buy them now...and limit per month due to folks pulling this out of them and making crystal meth. Its been replaced with a substitute that is not posed to have amphetamine like qualities but i think they still do and the cough syrup gets me revved up!I'm going to assume taking all those pills jacks him up after he hits a wall/ downslide with the alcohol.Thats insane...he could stroke out if he has high blood pressure or cardiac issues plus cause considerable kidney damage to himself.
