How long must I do my elimination diet?

So, I'm taking out dairy and wheat/gluten to see if it has any effect on my digestive issues. I've been doing it for 2 weeks; is it necessary that I go longer or can I start adding the dairy and wheat back into my diet?

two weeks are enough. But still the best are blood test. Try to discuss it with your doctor...

Hello,

I think two weeks is a good amount of time to get those foods out of your system, now, just start slowly adding them back to your diet, one at a time, give each food a week for a reaction, then add another one. Hopefully, all will go well.

So, in the two week period, my symptoms should have ceased if a food sensitivity was the cause?
