Is it possible? 2 odd questions

Is it possible to be allergic to raw egg (like cookie dough) but not cooked eggs? When I eat cookie dough, or anything with raw egg, it makes my mouth swell and itch, however I don't have a problem once it's cooked.
Is it possible to allergic to a combination of ingredients but not when the ingedrients are are individual?

Yes, but it's also Salmonella, LOL!

From the CDC (US Center for disease control)

"Egg-associated salmonellosis is an important public health problem in the United States and several European countries. A bacterium, Salmonella enteritidis, can be inside perfectly normal-appearing eggs, and if the eggs are eaten raw or undercooked, the bacterium can cause illness."

Still your choice of course.. . :-)

Yes, because cooking results in a chemical change to the food. Many people cannot tolerate raw onions, for example, but have no problem when they are thoroughly cooked.

In any case, you should not eat raw eggs, because they carry the danger of bacterial   infection.
