Hi
A drug allergy is a harmful reaction to a medicine you use. Your body may be allergic either to the chemical drug in the medicine or to other materials added to make the drug and even to the color used in the drug. Your body’s immune system fights back by setting off an allergic reaction. Several chemicals are released in your body in response to the drug. This is manifested in terms of rashes, hives, loose motions, cough etc. This is a way your body tells you to stop the medication.
“Panadol is the GlaxoSmithKline brand name of the phamaceutical paracetamol (para-acetylaminophenol), which is administered to reduce pain and fever.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panadol). “Tramadol (INN) (pronounced /ˈtræmədɒl/) is an opioid which is a centrally acting analgesic, used for treating moderate to severe pain. Almost all allergic to paracetamol are also allergic to aspirin.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Tramadol).
Please let me know if there is any thing else.
