Use her detergent for your clothes, use her soaps/shampoo to wash and shave, no more gels, even use her tooth paste.

One thing to note too is what kind of clothes are you wearing when she is around you? I am personally VERY allergic to wool, nylon, spandex, lycra, and polyester.

I don't know what goes on between the two of you, but if she is putting her arms around you or even burying her head in your shoulder where her face would come into contact with your shirt, it's possible that it is the fabric that she is allergic to and not your shaving cream, etc.

You said that changing laundry soaps helped a bit. Other things to consider are fabric softeners (dryer sheets or liquids), pre-treaters/spot removers, dry cleaning solutions, anti-stain chemicals that came on the shirt when purchased, wrinkle reducers/starch/static guards that could be sprayed onto the fabric when laundering.

Do you have any pets? If so, do they come into contact with your clothing? Even washing a shirt in with another shirt that has come into contact with pet hair can trigger an allergic reaction for someone who is extremely sensitive.

Also check your face soap and shampoo. Soap/shampoo/conditioners which contain dyes, perfumes, or lotions could possibly trigger an allergic reaction in someone sensitive to those things.

Are you always in the same place when this happens? Such as your house or car? If you are always kissing on the couch at your place, then perhaps she is allergic to the couch, not you. I doubt it, but just throwing out possibilities to think about here.

This may sound totally crazy, but do you have any metal that she could be coming into contact with? Necklaces, medallions, watches, rings, bracelets, etc. I can't stand anything metal as I break out within minutes. I have to closely watch shaking hands with people. If they have on a ring and my fingers brush against it, I start burning and itching and a rash soon develops on my fingers. Just a thought.

Best of Luck!

It's good to hear that there is progress in your investigation. Your old  detergent and the shaving gel are definitely out of the picture. It would be best to refrain from using any chemicals (if you can) at all when you're with her. Try to be as natural as you are. For the meantime, she can put her anti-allergy cream for prevention of her rashes. It would also be good to have her test for which specific allergens trigger her allergic reactions. That way, you will both know which ones to avoid.

Take care and regards.

Hi there,

When i changed washin powders the conjuntivitis in her eyes stopped.

I tried shaving with no shaving gel which seemed to help a bit but not alot - i think i have to get rid of all the hair on my face to really make efffective.

We did noticed that one time it took alot longer to come on but she was putting alot of cream on that day as well - so i know she tends not to bass as strick putting that on

The other day i tried to use a sensitive shaving gel but i think that made things 100 times i think. All the skin on her arms started to break out - so i dont know if it me touching her that causing or iff it got infected because the skin is open?

Again any ideas most welcome.

Also changing me deodrant to a stick no at aerosol to see if that can make any diffference.

Thank you for your time

How are you? Does your girlfriend have a history of allergies? If yes, what are the known allergens that trigger such reaction in your girlfriend? After you removed your shaving stuff, detergents, and other stuff you used in your face, did your girlfriend still had the reaction? Try to observe or investigate, take one thing out at a time, and see if  any of them caused the reaction.

Take care and keep us posted.
