Allergic reaction to bras

Is this VS issue still going on?  I have been suffering from an itchy rash on my breasts since purchasing 4 new bras from VS in July of 2010.  It didnt' dawn on me that it was from my bra since I don't usually have allergies.  Since then I purchsed 4 more "barely there" bras at a department store with the same reaction.  I'm sitting here at work writing you braless today and itching!  Please let me know if this is the source of my problem.....seems VS would have addressed this by now??

Hi, welcome to the forum, your symptoms are suggestive of irritant dermatitis. It seems secondary to the garments (bras) and sweating will worsen the condition.

Firstly, you need to get investigated for possibility of allergen (due to clothes, dye or other allergen where you work). Avoid further exposure of the allergen.

- White petrolatum or Zinc oxide cream can be used which acts as protective barrier.
- Low potency topical glucocorticoids and oral anti histaminic against prescription can be helpful.

I suggest you to consult dermatologist. Take care and regards.

You are allergic to the material they are using, or possibly a treatment they are giving to the material. Almost all bras make me itch. With me it is nylon.
