Allergic to Chlorin and Pregnant

I believe I am about 4-5 weeks pregnant. I've been spotting for almost a week, already. My 1st appointment is this coming Monday. However, I am allergic to chlorine, have been since I was a kid. I was drinking the coffee at work when I was about a week along, not knowing I was pregnant yet and not thinking, I developed a rash as Always when I drink tap water, so I stopped. That's actually how I found out I was pregnant, I went to the doctor and requested antibiotics to clear up my rash. Over this past weekend I made a soup at home, again used tap water, not thinking (I know), to make it and my rash worsened. Then, last night it was like a heavy day during my period, then it stopped. Could my allergy to the chlorine be the reason I have been spotting so long? Just curious until I speak to my doctor. I keep thinking over and over its my faults if something happens bad.
