Hey Jenn.

Fundamental remedy for Uvulitis would be  coconut oil.
I would recommend "oil pulling" with extra virgin coconut oil  (EVCO)every morning
before breakfast. Oil pulling is a process of "swishing" with  about 1-2 teaspoons of oil
for 15-20 minutes - just the way you would use mouthwash- and then spitting out and rinsing mouth very thoroughly. EVCO is anti-fungal, anti-viral-anti-microbial, anti-parasitic.
Replacing all your cooking oils with EVCO would eliminate all the inflammation
caused by all the other oils when they're heated. EVCO is very stable in higher temperatures. Please check it out at coconutresearchcenter.com
Also basil tea would be helpful and very soothing
The ultimate anti-oxidant in the body that would help strengthen the immunesystem would be Glutathione. It recycles other anti-oxidants,
it aids in the production of energy at the cellular level, it is a free radical scavenger and so much more.
Problem is, our body does not get enough of the right ingredients, to manufacture
ample Glutathione. Best source is UNDENATURED whey powder. Must be handled gently,
no blending and no heat. Just mix 2 teaspoons (1 serving) with a whisk or spoon in your juice , smoothie or yogurt. 2-4 servings per day. Do not purchase fancy  expensive brands with added ingredients. Just plain undenatured whey powder will suffice.

Please do your own research to verify the above suggestions, or consult with your health care professional.
Post again here if you have questions or to give update.
Blessings

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Uvilitis is inflammation of the uvula, the small tongue-shaped piece of tissue that hangs from the top of the back part of the mouth. Treatment includes salt water gargles, hard candies, sprays for example, Chloraseptic) and lozenges. Acetaminophen or ibuprofen may help control the pain.

Usually it goes away with the treatment. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
