Cough when breathing in cold air, no sore throat.

When the weather turns cold i keep on coughing, no sore throat. I was wondering what kind of medicine can help me out. Let me also note that i have some type of allergy against citrus fruits, some sort of candies and walnuts.

Hello there,

Just finished reading your comments. Coughing when the weather gets
colder sounds like asthma to me. The same thing happens to me and
I have asthma. I would suggest making a doctor's appointment, telling
the doctor that you start coughing when the weather gets colder and
don't have a sore throat. You could say you suspect asthma. See what
your doctor says. I wish you well. Eve

It sounds like you have asthma or bronchitis.

You might also benefit from stopping dairy, particularly drinking milk.  There are many fine milk substitutes these days you could try.

Make sure you don't have acid reflux, as it can actually cause asthma.  Surprisingly, Metamucil capsules help some people contain their acid splashing because it forms a gel.  Take about 5 capsules every evening after dinner.

Mint tea is said to help asthma.
