I have been expericing about the same syptoms. I've been having on and off headaches, lightheadedness, dizziness as of the room spinning. I went to a head/ear/neck doctor he done a CT scan Of my sinius but found it was good and clear. I've had a past of bad allergies and have had two sinus surgerys. He is also wanting to do a MRI of my brain to rule out MS or a brain tumor which has me worried! But he reassured me that it wasn't that but they do have to rule it out. Everyone around me thinks it's allergies. Someone has had the same syptoms what did anyone find out what it could be?

Hi,
It seems like your dizziness could be associated with the allergy medications that you must be taking.
Most of them have the side-effects of causing drowsiness. If you do not sleep adequately then sleep deficit could cause you to feel sleepy.
If your allergy has affected your sinuses as well then you tend to feel tired which could add to the problem.

I'm from MD, and my neck (right where your neck meets your upper back/shoulder) area has been killing me, feels like I'm holding tension but I dont think I am....My head has been killing me, I feel like I've been popping IB Profin like crazy b/c my head feels so full all day at work.....I saw the doctor and he took an xray for a sinus infection which I did not have but he said he noticed thinkening around my sinuses which is usually do to allergies, he told me to keep taking my Zyrtec and gave me a prescription for a nasal spray.....I dont feel any different yet....

I switched from Claritin to Zyrtec this allergy season and was wondering is Zyrtec was too much for me thus giving me these side effects, I just googled zyrtec side effects and they are dizziness, tiredness, lightheaded, headaches, etc....so I think I might try going back to Claritin to see if this helps, i am so sick of feeling off!!

Hi!  I have been suffering the same thing this year.  Where do you live.  I'm from NJ and
mine also started about 4 weeks ago.  I posted a little while ago under allergies and anxiety.  I really don't get dizziness, but I feel lightheaded.  I also get tightness in my neck.  That in turn brings on anxiety, which makes everthing worse.  My whole head feels like its swimming.  I hope that in a few weeks I will be starting to feel better.  What did the doctor tell you to take?  Did it help?
