Eye allergy - desperate for help!!

for the past 2 years, i have had severe eye allergies.  i'm not talking about a little redness and itching...i'm talking about eyes that look like raw meat and pain like someone threw acid in my face.  they sting, burn, itch, water to the point were i can't work or concentrate.  i've been to 3 allergist and an immunologist,  i've been taking a cocktail of 7 antihistamines plus drops and nothing helps.  now, here's the weird part.  this only happens when i am around my fiance.  he is a long distance truck driver and he is gone for 4-5 weeks and returns for 1 week.  i can feel my eyes start to burn in as little as 5 minutes or it might take 5 days before the hives/eye nightmare hits but it always occurs when he is in town.  it will take 7-10 days for the eyes to slowly return to normal.  we've tried eliminating products and i've been tested for all kinds of chemicals.  could this be an extreme allergy to diesel particles??  despite showering and putting on fresh, safely laundered clothes, could the diesel still be in his skin?  please help. i am desperate.

all of his possessions are here at my house as he basically lives out of the truck.  we have stopped all perfume, cologne, scented cosmetics.  we use the same brand of laundry detergent, soap, shampoo.  he does not have any pets or mold on the truck.  i'm a vegetarian with food allergies so i'm careful as to what i eat.  i am at a loss as to the source of this allergy.  the only thing i can think of is the diesel.  i am so discouraged.

Is there any chance you eat a different food with him or that you are allergic to his car or his house?  Maybe there is mildew in one of those places?

Find out if he is around a cat or is he wearing wool or does he sleep on feather pillows.  What is his soap and shampoo.  Does he have a weird plant inside or outside of his house.  ?

That's all I can think of.
