Frequent Illness

For the past two years I have been getting sick with the same symptoms - fever, chills, fatigue, sinus congestion, body aches, nausea.  In 2011, I was sick in April, June, July, August, September and I'm sick again.

My primary doctor sent me to the hospital for a chest x-ray, CT scan, EKG, because I get short of breath so he ruled out any heart or lung problems.

My endocronologist tested me for Hepatitis A,B,C - negative.

At my endo's suggestion, I went to an Infectious Disease doctor who tested me for TB, Lupus, Malaria (because I travel), and lymphomas.  Everything came back negative.

I have been Type 1 diabetic for 15 years, I have high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, and I have always had sinus problems.  I didn't mean to write a book here, but I thought some background would help.  Anyone have some ideas to offer.   Thanks

For the sinus problem take acetylcysteine, preferably by nebulizer. It is a mucolytic (mucus thinner). I cleared me of chronic bronchitis, post nasal drip and sinus headaches so quickly as to be unbelievable. It is a supplement and is only on prescription if you need the liquid (for a nebulizer). I experience no side effects and am taking it long term because I have COPD.

Try eliminating dairy from your diet.  Also get tested for gluten allergy/Celiac disease.  There are blood tests.

If you have elevated bilirubin, maybe you have Gilbert's syndrome.
