If you can make it on a bus you should really make an appointment to see a doctor, get a friend to go with you if your worried about it. Maybe you can get something for the anxiety while your there, anxiety is very common.
Sounds like u do need to get checked out.
I've suffered with severe headaches for about 2-3yrs now, they control my life, but i also get these sore throats which come in instantly usually while away from home. I'm guessing it an allergy as they tested me for trees, pollen, grass, cast+dogs etc. i reacted badly to all of them.
I wake up each day feeling sick, i get a horrible taste in the back of by throat that makes me feel ill, my eyes are dry, the list of symptoms i'm geting is big, to long to list them all but i've given up on finding out whats wrong, the last consultant i saw at the ENT clinic in Chester(Cheshire,UK) discharged me and refused to treat me because i was a smoker! it takes 3 months just to get an appointment and now i'm back to square one. I gave up smoking last year and it had no effect on my illness.
I'm thinking my headaches might be an allergy to dust so thinking of getting a dust filter, i already have a dust mask.
Thnx for sharing your experiences....
Hey, I'm 19, and i recently went to the doctors because i was suffering with chest pains.
It had blood tests and xrays and it turned out to be anxiety.
For the past 4 weeks or so i have been having server pain in the back of my eyes, neck, jaw, and head.
i also have dizzyness but that's not all the time. where as the neck and jaw pain are always there.
It seeems to get worse at night.
the first 2 weeks i was treating myself for sinusitis, with nasal sprays and stuff. they seeemd to work...
But then, one day i was on the bus and suddenly it felt like someone had smaked me in the side of the face... and becasue of the sudden pain it caused me to have an anxiety attack. i havent had one since but the pain seems to be getting worse.
My jaw clicks when i open it and my upper teeth feel funny.
My ears ring a little sometimes.
But i have a pernanment headache now. pain around the sinus area and in the sides and sometimes back of my neck. it wears off with anadin or ibruprofen, but i noticed i was getting heartburn taking many tablets so im just puting up with it at the minuite.
could it be TMR? or my sinuses?
because of my anxiety im too scared to go doctors :(
Please help.
xxxxxxx

Your dentist can give you a muscle relaxer, such as flexoril to take at night while you sleep. A night guard will protect your teeth but your jaw muscles can still be sore from clenching/grinding at night. Stress will cause you to clench/grind your teeth. Everyone is stressed these days (especially with the economy), so you may need something more than someone just telling you to de-stress (which is easier said than done). I am also a dental hygienist.
I was diagnosed with Trigeminal neuralgia ( a nerve disorder) after about 12 visits back and forth to the dr and dentist and MRI... I was experiencing extreme pain in my jaw, face, eyes, and head. Couldn't sleep all night. It was AWFUL. Once diagnosed, I went to a neurologist who presribed a medication and it took care of it. After some time I went off of it and I have been ok since. They can't pinpoint a cause for it, but say triggered by anxiety and stress. Hope that helps.
