Heat Wave

I hope you all are enduring the wave safely.  You may not be directly affected by it, but I am sure you know someone who is.  Be sure to drink lots of water and stay out of the sun as much as possible.

Temps here reached 108 today.  At least it is a dry heat so it is less opressive that high humidity and HOT.

What are the temps where you are and how are you coping?

God bless.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Agree with you that the heat wave could be exhausting. With water try to replace the salts as well, as dehydration can occur due to sweating. Also wear loose cotton clothes, broad brimmed hats and apply sunscreens repeatedly. Humidifying the room could further help.

Warm regards.

I am in California ..outside LA in the rural foothills area..we have had 100 nearly every day for several weeks yesterday it was 102 ..the humidity is high, unusual for CA as its usually drier, we did get some rain a couple of days ago...wonderful .but still hot .It was hot last year aswell.. but this seems worse .I have read that earth will be going into a mini ice age and these extremes are part of the begining of that ...Many have drought and I fear a shortage of food is upon us .throughout the world ..
