Heavy congestion and runny nose

So for the past few weeks I've been dealing with heavy congestion coming out of no where on and off throughout the day.  One minute I'll be breathing fine and then the next I'm so congested that I can't even take a drink of something without choking because I can't breathe. I haven't slept more than 25 minutes at a time since this has been going on because either I can't breathe in my sleep or I am just paranoid that I might choke in my sleep.  It also go from congestion to running in the blink of an eye out of no where.  I take daily allergy meds and I have tried ruling all types of things out.  I am starting to get dizzy at times now as well.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? I've had ZERO major changes in my life especially environmental related changes. I'm going to go crazy soon if I can't figure this out!!!
