How long is Allegra in the System after discontinuing use?

Hello,

I have discontinued Allegra after having anxiety and nervous side effects.  I am feeling better, but not 100%.  It has been 4 days, so I am beginning to wonder how long it takes to rid the body of the drug entirely.

Thanks so much.

Mott.

Same issue. I tried going to the gym to sweat it out.
I took it for 3 days.. i work in travel and deal with week long groups of people. By day 3 I was about to literally pass out from anxiety. I was also taking vitamins like B12 and folic acid and vitamin C so taking several things it took an extra day to figure out definitely it was the Allegra. First day without taking it and I’m still very jittery. All 3 nights I didn’t sleep good either, made my brain go 1000mph and was very hard to calm down. Hopefully will be out soon. Meanwhile back to work with 17 people on a group tour... great

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Usually Allegra has a half life of 14-15 hours. So by 4 cycles all the drug will be excreted. This would be by 2-3 days. Hence by 4 days all drug will be out. Drink plenty of fluids. Eat healthy. If you do not feel ok by another 2-3 days consult a doctor.
Hope this helps. Take care!
