I dont know what to do with this issue..

Ok,

So i've been working at walmart for a while as a cashier, and theres been no problem until 4 days ago. There is something that is floating in air at walmart that is irritating the hell out of facial skin. Its everywhere in air and all over registers and just floating in air. It looks like a small long shiny piece of fiber of some sort. We  did just have easter and i know we sold multiple large amounts of these large fuzzy bunnies as well as packaged easter grass. So i guess its possible that multiple fibers of that couldv'e been left over all over registers and that its just floating around everywhere. Though im not so sure. I did work at whirlpool corp. assembly line a long time ago and the building insulation was in my face all day and man did it burn my skin and irritate it,this reaction im having is almost exactly the same. It feels like something is crawling on my face, and its all tingly, and no matter how much i rub my face gently to get it off it doesnt help. Its a burning as well and its especially bad around my mouth and lips. I can also feel my nose breathing in something constantly and when i blow my nose there is blood. ANyway,i hope it goes away or i am going to have to find a different job..i cant deal with this for 9 hours and wait on customers at same time. It puts me in a very bad mood, and i hate to treat people bad because i feel terrible.

im not sure what to do..

Hi,

Well, all that i can suggest at this point is to see your doctor at the earliest, whenevr that is possible in your case.

You should also consider seeing a neurologist to rule out paresthesias and then find a possible cause for these paresthesias.

Let us know how you are doing and if you have any other doubts.

Hi,

Are you on any medications currently? Do you have any other symptoms?

Have you got your blood pressure and blood sugar checked?

Do you have any vision abnormalities?

This could be a condition called - Paresthesias; which can be due to various causes and only a clinical evaluation and relevant investigations can give you the confirmed diagnosis.

Keep us posted.

Well,

i currently dont have insurance. Not for 2 more months until i am eligible. I dont know if more dust is in the air then usual, both at work or at home(which my mom is clean freak) or what. I was on a special acne skin treatment which when used in excess can cause irritation and especially make skin more sensitive to anything. I went off of that yesterday. I just stand still at work and its that feeling that feels like animal hair is on my chin and around my mouth. But theres nothing there, but thats what it feels like no matter how much i wipe my face. That along with a weird tingling or fluttering feeling in the skin. All of the allergies i;ve ever had have been internal not external so if it is allergies, this is a first. I try not to let it annoy me,but it does! Its mostly around my lips/mouth and chin area and other areas of face..

thanks

Hi,

You should try oral antihistmmaine medications and steam inhalation along with saine nasal drops.

Do you have any vision problems?

Consult your doctor about the severity of sinusistis and if that combined with your allergies could be the cause of your symptoms.

You should also talk to your doctor whether steroid nasal sprays would help in your case.

Let us know about how you are doing and what your doctor advises.

Ok i lied..so it ISNT only at work..all day today on day off it seems like hair or dust or something is constantly on my face and nose and lips, etc and is being breathed up my nose. I actually am on a acne treatment that can cause skin irritations/itchiness or make them worse. But dont see how thatd make it feel like theres hair/fuzz/dust on my face 247. I keep brushing my chin off etc..cuz feels like something there..and it seems like something is being breathed up my nose,i can feel it..omg this is drivin me nuts. i thought was only at work, but im wrong. maybe theres a HUGE dust outbreak in air? I dont know..
