Hives from unknown exposure

Few months ago I started suffering from hives. It all starts with my head skin itching during the week and then at weekend my chest and low back get covered in huge red hives, sometimes my lips are numb. I fight this by taking 4 allergy pills but they wont go away fast. I had allergy tests taken with the doctor, I am not allergic to any food, however blood tests show my body is reacting to something. The only thing I know I am allergic to is borax. My question is - can  that happen that something is wrong with the place where I work, my body fights it during the week and when I am home at weekend it bursts out?
