Late in life sushi allergy

Hello!
I used to eat sushi all the time, for years. One of my usual nights eating it, I got sick within roughly 30 min. Like knives in stomach, can’t move, hunched over in pain sick and it lasts roughly 8 hours. I figured I just had a bad one. Went back shortly after, same thing happened. Then decided to change restaurants, same thing happened. Waited monthssss, went back, same thing happened. I’m wondering if I tried it without seaweed if I’d be ok. I can eat fish, rice, shellfish, etc. I’m just terrified to try again and I get sick but I also miss sushi! Has anyone else had this?
