Can middle ear infection and chest heaviness be connected and caused by allergic reaction?

No. It´s not an allergic reaction. You have a BACTERIAL respiratory infection, complicated by an ear infection(also bacterial). Requires  medical treatment with proper antibiotics.

I have seen my GP about a million times and they say that my middle ear infection is viral and that the heavy chest is not connected & that the heavy chest is anxiety but I don't feel anxious!

Hi, welcome to the forum, the heaviness in the chest is suggestive of infection, cardiac disorders like congestive cardiac failure, allergic manifestations and other respiratory disorder. Ear infection is usually caused by bacteria. Pharyngitis and sinusitis can predispose to ear infection. But there seems to be no association between the heaviness of chest and ear infection. Moreover allergy is not involved. Take care and regards.
