Nasal passage issues, what is it?

Hi, I have this very weird thing going on with my nasal passage/s. It feels like someone is pinching me inside my head, behind where my nose is. I guess where my sinuses are.  The problem is, it's not congestion or allergies or anything like that so I cannot find anything on the web about it.
The closest I came was a website about second hand smoke and the author described exactly what I have to the T as a second hand smoke irritation.
I live in the city and getting away from second hand smoke is impossible. I don't even think it's  just second hand smoke that's causing it to happen. When I'm sitting close to a smoker, it doesn't happen. I use to smoke and the smoke didn't bother my sinuses at all. I think second hand does bother me if it's further away from me, like in my neighbors house connected to my house. (I live in a rowhome) I know that sounds weird but it's true. I know my neighbor smokes and when I get woken up with the sinus pinch feeling, I can hear my neighbor is also up at that time. They're talking or creaking around in their house. And it's always the same time at night 1am, 3:30am and 5 am. For some reason the family likes to stay up all night and sleep all day. But this has happened in other houses I've lived in too.  Maybe that's just some odd coincidence but it happens like every night. Also, it seems to happen with certain air fresheners and cleaning detergents, like 409 and sometimes I feel it from house heaters.
I don't know what triggers it but I have not slept a full 8 hours in years and years because of it. It wakes me up at least a couple of times a night.
I've tried everything to make it stop. And I mean everything.  Neti pot, antihistimines, air purification system (very expensive one and cheap ones), wearing carbon filter masks while sleeping, steroid nose sprays from doctor who said it was post nasal drip but it's not, regular nose sprays, I've tried putting neosporin up my nose with a q-tip, I've tried a humidifier, and I've tried all of these things together but I am still waking up constantly because of the irritating pinching feeling in my sinuses.
I've heard other people who use a lot of cleaning products ( I clean for a living ) also have problems with their sinuses.
Is there anything I haven't tried to fix this?  Will I just have to learn to live with it? I'd really like to be able to sleep through the night. I'm so tired all the time I'm losing clients because of it because my work is suffering from it and I don't do anything anymore. I have no energy. Please help.

I found something that worked. Weirdly enough, it's garlic supplements.  Ever since I've been taking them I haven't had that pinchy feeling in the back of my nose. Yay! :D

Thanks for that advice. I've already tried a humidifier but it didn't work. I may try it again.
I am at my wit's end with this. I am tired of not being able to sleep night after night after night.
I swear I just feel like shoving a lit cigarette up my nostrils to deaden the nerve endings so I won't have this feeling anymore. I won't but I do feel like it.
I'm really tired. I'm really tired of being tired. My quality of life is zilch.
