RE allergic rhinitus

I suffer from allegic rhinitus, I am allergic do housemite My symtomns can be unbearable I have a draining in my head like mucas draining then the head can go blcoked then get a blocked head and pressure in the head,  I have prednisolone for 5 days once a year this helps, but my doctor is reluctant to give me orl steriods I get only a few hours sleep at night.  I am flixonase nasal Spray, montelecast, all antihistamines and nothing works.  I have been turned down for the new dustmite trial becuase I am not on ventalin for asthma.  I am trying to get an appointment to have desensatisation injections against dustmite wondered if anyone has tried this.  I also have carpets which are 17 years old which does not help and cannot have wooden flooring.  If anyone can help a doctor or people who suffer from this please email me at ***@****.

I don't know if this helps but two of my friend have been having the injections with great success. One specifically was allergic to 35 different things, and pretty badly too. She has been getting injections once a week for the past year and now has only minimal problems around things that would otherwise have given her nauseatingly painful migraines.
