SICK OF SUN HIVES HELP

I have been dealing with hives since 2000.  All i have to do is be in the sun and i break out.  I have tried Zyrtec, Allegra, Singular and now i'm on Xyzal.  The Xyzal i only tried one time and woke up the next morning feeling like i was drunk and hit by a train.  It left a horrible taste in my mouth.  I am so sick of these hives. I'm getting married in August and have a terrible farmers tan and i am asking for any advice on what to do.  Steroids do work, but don't want to take those all the time for obvious reasons.  Any suggestions???????

I also starting getting hives from the sun atleast 7years ago. They have gotten progressively worse. I have hypothyroidism and hashimoto's thyroiditis which is autoimmune.  I was told by my endocrinologist that the hive are related to my hashimoto's. I recently went to see an allergist and she says my hives are autoimmune also. If you haven't already been teste for thyroid issues, it would be a good idea. My allergist put me on 2 xyzal twice a day, which was way to much. I took two doses and was weak, tired and had panic attacks. I also have celiac disease and am trying to figure out if the xyzal is gluten free. I was taking benadryl.  I dont do well with any antihistamines.  I was taking Benadryl. There is also an injection you can get.
