Strange allergies

In Jan I traveld out of the US to the dominican republic.  Two days upon my return  I broke out in hives.  This was before eating breakfast.  My allergist gave me allegra 180mg twice a day, a medrol shot and  I had taken benadryl.  The bloodwork showed an IGE level of 1400 but didn't specify the allergen.  In March I began having shortness of breath and was hyperventilating.,  From there I had chronic diahrea.  I had fatigue for weeks.  Soon after that I was waking up with scratches all over my body.  I began taking claritin everyday and using dove wash and cerave lotion.  So when I was finally feeling better things changed.  We went out to eat last weekend.  I didn't feel too good since the pollen was high, the temp was high and it was humid.  I had a foggy brain and was dizzy.  At the restaurant I ordered grilled chicken with white rice and black beans.  My husband had sweet potato fries and fried shrimps.  I had one of his fries.  Thirty min later I was flusing, dizzy, itchy, short of breath and heart palpitating.  I took two benadryls and used my inhaler.  The day after I had diahrea.  Thursday I ate saltine crackers and had the same reaction, it's strange since I had eaten the same crackers earlier in the day and had no reaction.  I went to the ER and they only treated me for asthma, I had taken two benadryls at home.,  Again diahrea the day after which lingered a bit,  I've noticed my skin is usually itchy and I get red patches at any given moment.  I also get small hives.  What can be causing these allergic reactions?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Looks like your allergic responses are causing Rash, Asthma & Diarrhea.  I would suggest you obtain a referral to an allergist or an ENT who does allergy testing.  That is the only way to reliably know what is causing your allergic reaction.  Some allergies can be life-threatening as they can precipitate anaphylactic shock in which the swelling can be so severe that it impairs the ability to breathe.  You will need to carry an epipen with you. Therefore, I would suggest you see someone as soon as possible.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
