Odimont is not in my Nurse's Drug Book. I did an Internet search and one site gave the generic name as montelukast which is sold in the U.S. under the brand name Singulair. If this is medicaiton you have been prescribed, it is not a steroid.

When you say fluticone do you mean fluticasone? If so, it is an inhaled corticosteroid.

Medrol is a corticosteroid.

I was not able to find any information on formanide.

Corticosteroids do have side effects and should not be stopped abruptly. I'm not sure why your doctor would specify to take them just for a month. You should contact your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the side effects and the duration of your treatment.

Hello and wellcome to MedHelp and the community.

The best person to ask these questions is your pharmacist.  Your doctor could also answer them for you.

budecort duolin is most likely an inhaled corticosteroid.  Inhaled corticoseroids have few side effects when used properly.  Be sure to rinse your mouth out thoroughly after use as you could develop a thrush (yeast) infection.

Mederol is methyprednisolone in the US.  I am not familiar with it combined with "formanide", so it could be something else.  Mederol here is a steroid.  Long term use could have side effects, but if you are only taking 4 mg a day you shouldn't have any.

I hope that helps you some.
God bless.
