Urgent_mouth skin problem_ask for help

Please see the picture, sometimes worse than this. Symptom essentially around mouth.

Started from 3 yrs old, over the years to now, sometime better ( Summer), sometimes worse.

Seen many allergy specialists

Antibiotics may make it better immediately, but symptom comes back when stopping application of antibiotics.

Many tests showed he is allergic to a few things like oak trees and others; sometimes getting worse after eating food like pizza.

Sometimes very itching, needs scratching, then bleeding--   so suffering for a 9 years old boy.

I wonder if somebody saw similar symptom, please provide any suggetions, highly appreciated!

Hi,

I am unable to see the picture here, but from what I can gather, your child seems to be allergic to some substances. Allergic disorders are not uncommon in childhood and some may gradually decrease over time, though many do not. An allergy specialist may be able to help you with the medications and also the substances which your child should definitely avoid. At the domestic level you may be able to provide some relief by keeping the area hygienic and ensuring that the child does not scratch away the affected skin. Local application of some antibiotic cream is a good option as well as application of a good moisturizing lotion to keep the skin moist.

Please let us know if you may have any other queries and what the doctor says regarding your child's health.

Good luck.
