Water Allergy

I usually have itching after taking bath. It sometimes poor, sometimes mild and sometimes severe. I don't know what is the reason exactly. What I observe is that it usually occurs when the body temp and atm temp has a much difference I mean when there is too hot or too cold. The itching is not on all parts but mostly on chest, back, shoulders..... It lasts for 10 to 15 mnts after bath but sometimes it becomes intolerable. Can u suggest some cure.
Thanx

Hello and hope you are doing well.

It could indicate an allergic reaction. More so if repeated episodes have occurred with the same water source. To prevent the allergic reaction, the allergen needs to be avoided. Environmental triggers or seasonal or diurnal variations triggers may be difficult to avoid. More so, if it is something like water. But you could see if temperature variations in water are triggering the attacks, also see if you can change the water source and see if the reactions persist. Sometimes the pipes may contain the allergen.  Alternatively an allergy specialist may try to identify the offending allergen and try to desensitize you. In the meantime, antihistamines may help to relieve the symptoms.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

The other condition has to do with temperature change causing hives ... I don't know offhand what it's called though.

Are you using different soap than usual?  Does this happen with plain water only?  Could it be chlorine ?  There is an allergy to chlorine.  but it's not typical.
