They turned into rashes now... Is that normal?
Hello and hope you are doing well.
Looks like an allergic reaction. Local measures like ice packs and antipruritic lotions are helpful. Antihistamines block the histamine receptors and prevent histamine from acting and thus help in preventing rashes. So, try OTC antihistamines. If the anti histamines are not very effective you can consult your doctor for long acting ones. Also, check to see that you not develop an infection of the lesions. If you develop fever or pus discharge, consult your doctor.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Allergies aren't contagious, so no worries.
Have you tried the calamine of Benadryl yet? Did they help if you did?
I live in Idaho, and I know for a fact that it wasn't a poisonous plant... So, If I had an allergic reaction, then I can't infect anyone? Thanks.
Got into a fight with a poisonous plant did you?
Grab some calamine lotion if you haven't already.
Not sure where you live, so not sure if it was poison ivy, oak, or what have you.
It could affect others if they touched your clothing/skin that day...depending on what plant you fought with.
Unless of course it was a non-poisonous plant and you are just having an allergic reaction to something.
Benadryl may bring you some relief too in that case. Either way, it shouldn't hurt to take some.
