Based on your symptoms, you might have a vitamin deficiency.  This is easily diagnosed with blood work by your primary care physician.  Vitamin deficiencies can cause inflammation of the tongue.  Another thing to consider is an infection of the mouth called thrush which is treated by an antifungal mouthwash.  I would recommend that you discuss your concerns with your primary care physician so that he or she may help you get the care you need or send you to a specialist for further testing or treatment.
