antihistamines for enlarged prostate?

what are the best antihistamines (dust allergy) for somone with an enlarged prostate?

hi  
i have a list of the antihistimines, they all seem to say not to be used to enlarged prostate, (the saldane has been taken off US market due to serious/fatal side effects) including the saldane. Which ones would you say say are better for somone with enlarged prostate?

i only have dust allergy which effects my breathing/air passage swelling and it is relieved by antihistamines.
what would you suggest? can i use a type of inhaler? (i have my standard inhalers for asthma which do not work only the antihistamines do).

thanks for the reply, yes i googled that before messaging and the only one it shows is Seldane, because of the problem with this antihistamine and that it had been taking off the market (not a newer antihistamine), i wanted to know of any other antihistamines?

are there no others for enlarged prostate sufferers?

2nd question is after stopping the intake of antihistamine that  effect the prostate, woiuld these be a short term effect and the prostate goes back to how it was? or does it remain in the worser condition?

"Seldane was approved by the FDA in 1985 as the first prescription antihistamine"

These dangerous complications occurred when Seldane was taken in combination with erythromycin or ketoconozole, causing Seldane to build up in the blood and resulting in serious cardiac side effects.

Hoechst Marion Roussel and Baker Norton Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of the Seldane, have voluntarily discontinued the distribution and marketing of all terfenadine-containing antihistamine product lines in the United States. Due to the availability of alternative drug therapy, the FDA announced in January 1997 that Seldane would be withdrawn from the market"

Hello,
For prostate problems, antihistaminics and decongestants should be best avoided. There are some newer antihistamines on the market that do not cause these side effects on your prostate, including Seldane. This can be taken after prescription.

The best way is to reduce exposure to the allergen. To reduce dust mites in your home, remove drapes, feather pillows, upholstered furniture, non-washable comforters and soft toys. Replace carpets with linoleum or wood. Vacuum soft furniture and curtains as well as floor Wash carpets and upholstery with special cleaners, such as benzyl benzoate or tannic acid spray. Wash all bedding in hot water (hotter than 130°F) every 7 to 10 days. Don't use mattress pads. Cover mattress and pillows with plastic covers. Lower the humidity in your home.
