Hello and hope you are doing well.

Dry eyes cause pain, light sensitivity, a foreign body sensation and itching. For this the therapy is using artificial tear drops and ointment to lubricate the eyes. But please consult an ophthalmologist for further guidance.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hi valire28.
Welcome to the forum.

Antihistamines and other meds may cause dry/itchy eyes.
Check out all your meds.
Stay hydrated drink 6-8 glasses of spring water daily.
Avoid excessive coffee, colas, smoking, computer use, fried foods, junk food and cut out all sugars and simple carbs if you can.
Massage your eyelids and blink frequently.
Use MSM eye drops for damaged membranes and to soften the tissues.
Finally you can do Dr. Cocoa's Pulse test (free download) for allergies
regarding anything you ingest.
You may want to look into holistic allergy elimination if this is an allergy and the symptoms persist. Look into "Allergy Antidotes" or NAET.
Let me know if you need details.
Cheers.
Niko
