Hi and welcome to the forum.

Asthma has an energetic component and as all allergies are energy based, there's a possibility that there is a connection.
Itching would be caused by Histamines so an Anti-Histamine would clear that.
Better yet, you could use Yamoa powder - comes from an African gum tree, the best natural remedy for Asthma.
Next do Dr.Coca's pulse test ( free download) to test for Allergies in anything you ingest.
Should the test show that-let's say- you are allergic to bread (wheat or gluten allergy)
then you can avoid it  or clear it.

To clear it you can checkout Holistic Allergy Elimination Practitioners in your area.
You can also check my post on Dec.27 to mariyamari for a complete allergy elimination procedure that you can try. I  have used it successfully on many people. Fast and efficient.

Blessings,
Nikodicreta

For some reason, I can't access what the other poster has written, so will give you my answer.

Itching is not typically a symptom of asthma.  However, there is quite of bit of effidence and documentation that some asthmatics can experience an itching chin as a very subtle, rare and precursory symptom of a pending asthma attack.

So the most direct answer is yes if you are talking about an itching chin.

I hope that helps.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, welcome to the forum, itching suggests atopic dermatitis which is seen due to allergic background and Contact dermatitis due to direct skin exposure to a substance which can be a allergen or irritant. Itching is not a symptom of asthma. Asthma is usually associated with Allergic dermatitis, hence itching is manifested in patients with history of asthma.

Anti-histamines with appropriate steroids against prescription will help to alleviate the condition. Identify and avoid the triggering factor which you been exposed to recently.

The other causes for itching are worm infestations like ascaris and liver flukes, cholangitis and biliary stasis, thyroid disorder and delusional parasitosis.

I suggest you to get the following parameters checked like liver function, thyroid function and absolute eosinophil count.

I suggest you to consult a physician. Take care and regards.
