Hello and hope you are doing well.
Your symptoms of hyperventilation and difficulty yawning could also be attributed to Chronic Hyperventilation Syndrome. It is characterized by hyperventilation for no apparent reason, frequent yawning, palpitations, dizziness, sweating, fainting, depression, and cold sweats. Please consult your primary care physician for assessment. In the meantime you could practice breathing exercises and good relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation.

Hello and hope you are doing well.
There is an entity called exercise induced Asthma, here as the person starts exercise, the changes in the environmental air breathed in trigger an attack of asthma, causing cough and breathlessness. Also, the symptoms of asthma are aggravated at night. Have yourself evaluated for the same. This can be detected by a spirometry test.
