dye allergy

hi this is sadi.....i have a qts related 2 allergy.my mom she is 48 yrs old and has been using hair dye for almost 15yrs.for the past 6 yrs she got allergy.whenever she applies it she gets urticaria sort of thing all over the skin.her face becomes red.and she feels her bloodpressure is low.gradually this has become severe and now she cant even use bleach creams.now even if she is not using these products she gets allergy on and off....can u plz help me ....thnx

How much does her BP remain normally and how much does it fall to?

Does taking antihistamine medications and applying calamine lotion help?

Have you been to see a doctor as yet for her symptoms? What has her doctor advised?

thanks bhoomika....she gets a kind of urticaria with low bp and red hot face....she cant even bare the smell of dye n bleach

You should consult an allergy specialist for the symptoms your mother is having.

Till you get an appointment, she could take some OTC antihistamine or antiallergic medications and see if that helps.

What symptoms of allergy does she have? Let us know about them so that we can help you further.
