I too was allergic to my own bedroom. I saw an allergist, was tested and followed his recommendations. I removed the carpet, put dust mite covers on my mattress and pillows, removed plants (they contain molds - except ivies) and dust frequently. I also empty the garbage pail regularily and change sheets and other bedding more frequently. I have taken to sleeping with the head of my bed elevated as well. These have helped with my symptoms greatly.
Hi, welcome to the forum, it typically suggests allergic rhinitis with allergic conjunctivitis which is exaggerated or precipitated during cold season or timing. This condition is sometimes associated with asthma. This is not random but some precipitating factor is present which you are unaware of.
The triggering factors like dust, fog, pollens etc. can cause the precipitation of these symptoms. Hence, you need to maintain a diary of tings you are and you are not allergic to. A vigorous search for allergen is required. House hold factors are molds, pets, pipe leakage, pollens outside, dust etc.
A careful nasal examination, Allergen-specific testing includes Skin testing, Serum tests for allergy, Allergen challenge and as well as Evaluation for concurrent conditions like Sinusitis and Asthma is necessary and it directs further steps for management.
Once, the allergen is known, you need to prevent further exposure to it. Treatment of the attack includes anti histaminic and glucocorticoids against prescription.
I suggest you to consult allergy specialist. Take care and regards.
