Hello and hope you are doing well.

Understand your concern. Looks like you have developed an allergic reaction to cold. Environmental triggers or seasonal or diurnal variations triggers may be difficult to avoid. But being aware can help to avoid the same. The best way to prevent the allergic reaction is to avoid the allergen. Once an attack has occurred, antihistamines are effective to relieve symptoms.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

Hi there, what I think you have is cold urticaria, in which there is an inflammatory response to a drop in temperature, with increased circulation of histamines. These reaction could be life threatening. What you need to do is to keep yourself warm, and not being exposed to sudden drops in temperature. You might want to use oral antihistamines to relieve the allergy. It's good to avoid cold environment such as air conditioned rooms, however if you have to stay in there, as in your place of work, keep warm, and take an antihistamine. It's also good that you see a dermatologist who would be in a better position to help out. Take care
