medical oxygen tank with regulator

can medical oxygen tank with regulator be use as nebulizer?

The dr had mine set at 5, which is high, but it is done that way all the time by people who have to have oxygen and a neb and the same time.  You can only breathe through so many tubes at one time.  I have a friend that did it on a setting of 2.

KeyD did bring up a good point though.  If you don't need the oxygen, you would be better served by having a neb.  If you need the oxygen, you should ask your dr what settings to use.

yea but it uses alot of oxygen to use it for that....i think it needs set at like 10 L/M. it would be better to get a nebulizer

Yep, my allergist gave me my last neb treatment in her office that way about 3 weeks ago.
