Hello and hope you are doing well.

People who suffer from Eczema should avoid contact with triggering factors like soaps, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, and detergents. Sometimes sweat, changes in temperature and psychological stress are known to trigger these episodes. So, the best way to prevent attacks is to identify those substances which you are allergic to and avoid them. So, Allergy testing would be worth looking into. And treatment is with cortisone based creams, which need to be very potent and of increased strength to heal the lesions. Always wear gloves for  washing and while going outside, as cold increases drying. Don't wash your hands anymore than necessary and use very mild soaps to bathe. Apply constantly plenty of good moisturizing creams and alternate with steroid creams. Use a humidifier in the rooms to avoid dryness.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

You may also be allergic to something you are using or you eat, Calamine is soothing for rashes ..also maybe some ice water cloth on the uncomfortable area may help at times .hope it feels better soon..

These forums are all peer-advice so no one can prescribe you anything.

However, I personally had good experience with oatmeal baths, natural cocoa butter lotions, and over the counter hydrocortizone. Someone at a pharmacy should be able to help find you something that will sooth your skin.

Also, again my own experience, eczema only really clears away after what caused it is removed. Do you know what may have caused your problems? Do your best to avoid it, once it's gone your skin can get to healing.
