mystery allergies whats going on?

Ive been to the allergist numerous times and ive had numerous tests trying to find everything im allergic too. its definately a food allergy and im already allergic to corn, soy, peanuts, most fresh fruit, asparagus, rice, coconut and the list goes on. A couple months ago my face broke out in these itchy blotchy bumps which stay on my face all the time but it seems at least twice a day it flares up and it unbearable. My allergist said i had a staph infection also. Could that be triggering the rash on my face or would it be apart of the allergy? or a combination of both?

Hi,

You could talk to your allergy specialist and talk to him/her about prescribing you some antihistamine or antiallergic medications that can be used as and when required.

It would also help to use calamine lotion on the sites of the skin lesions - it will help to soothe the lesions.

Let us know if you have any other doubts.

Regards.

i had the allergy testing on my arms and he took a swab through my nose and throat. im on antibiotics now for the staph infection for two weeks but it doesnt seem to be helping. im not on any medication for the flare ups because we dont know what is causing it. unless theres a univeral medication to help lower the flare ups of the skin for anything.

Hi,

Have you got any tests done to confirm the allergy or staph infection. If not, then a discussion with the doctor is required.

Have you taken any anti-histamines/anti-allergic medication for your symptoms? What medication are you currently taking? Are you on any medication to control flare-up or a deterioration of your present condition?
