Hi,
Thanks for the response what do you suggest if I have tried Nystatin diflucanizol micanozole all with no results and metrinadizole and azythromycin with good results. I've been tested for everything. And the white stuff has not grown out candida even though I was still treated for it.
Hi,
This sounds like oral candidiasis or thrush.
'Any underlying cause, such as poor glucose control in diabetics, should be addressed.
Oral candidiasis can be treated with topical anti-fungal drugs, such as nystatin (mycostatin), miconazole or amphotericin B.
Patients who are immunocompromised, either with HIV/AIDS or as a result of chemotherapy, may require systemic treatment with oral or intravenous administered anti-fungals.
For adults, mild cases can be first treated by drinking acidic substances, such as orange juice, to make a harsher environment for the yeast. Eating yogurt may replenish the count of bacteria that control the yeast. If home treatment is not effective a physician may need to be consulted.'

Yes Nystatin is awful and it does not work on advanced cases of candida or superfungus strains of it. I drank bottles of the stuff just made my tongue whiter and sometimes yellow. Ask for something better. If there is anything better.......................
Is Thrush in an older adult contagious.
I've had occasional bouts of oral thrush caused by my inhaler, and Nystatin has helped me a great deal. Although, I will agree with "Deeds" that the stuff does taste quite disgusting!
`Kestra
I take powdered Nystatin for a Candida (yeast) infection and it's working!!! The powdered form (raw form) is also least likely to cause an allergic reaction or problems... You have to keep the powder refrigerated and let me tell you - that taste - I hate it!!!!!!!! It's GROSSSSSSS but, works!!
also, cut down on ANY sugars you are eating until you get your infection under control!!!!!!!
A lot of diabetics have a hard time with yeast based - sugar related infections -
