Hello and hope you are doing well.

I would suggest you obtain a referral to an allergist or an ENT who does allergy testing.  That is the only way to reliably know what is causing your allergic reaction.  Some allergies can be life-threatening as they can precipitate anaphylactic shock in which the swelling can be so severe that it impairs the ability to breathe. Therefore, I would suggest you see someone as soon as possible. You could keep an epipen for emergencies.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

I think you are saying that you have "urticaria." Try this. Get yourself a bottle of liquid Benadryl, commonly used for children's allergies. At the first suggestion of throat swelling take small sips of this antihistamine. Then drink a full dose. This has always controlled the swelling for me, but in my case I have eaten something that I am allergic to and the reaction starts in the throat. For you, the throat swelling seems to be part of a systemic reaction. In any case the liquid Benadryl is worth a try.
