skin reaction
I scratched my arm and the lines turned bright red. Now they are white and raised. Could this be an allergic reaction? If so, I have been tested for allergens exgtensively and all tests were negative.

The symptoms you describe could be due to a hypersensitive response of the body called Dermographism. However, this may also be due to some allergic reaction and your doctor would be able to guide you further on this.
Meanwhile, you may try some OTC anti-allergic medication to help you. Some moisturizers may also help.
