Hi, you need to take allegra whenever there is an attack but few physician advices to take it indefinitely, discuss this with your health care provider. Chicken and alcohol, you can have it only if you are not allergic to these. If there is a development of allergy anytime after the intake, then discontinue it. Remember prevention is best cure. Take care and regards.

Hi, welcome to the forum, the normal IgE levels are below 100. Any level above 500 is higher and is suggestive of allergy or parasitic infection. You have known to have mildly higher levels. It can be seen in patients with urticaria or allergic dermatitis.  It is usually seen secondary to exposure to allergen and subsequent reaction is mediated by IgE antibodies. Your body is known to hypersensitive to certain things.

Stinging insects, Aeroallergens (uncommon), Foods and additives like Milk, egg, peanuts, nuts, soy, and wheat are the most common agents to cause such allergic manifestations.

Measures for you to reduce IgE levels are-

- The triggering factor should be identified and should be avoided. Even a skin allergy test can be useful.
- Prompt treatment with anti histamines and glucorticoids during allergic attack.

No need not take allegra and teczine together, any one is sufficient. Now coming to your question, 35% of patients get totally free of the symptoms in one year. In other 30% symptoms will reduce. Rest of the pateints it continues. But you need to take necessary precautions.

I suggest you to consult to a skin specialist/ immunologist for further steps of management. Take care and regards.
