Accidentally sprayed in face with paint primer - Recovery steps

I had an accident today where the nozzle from a brand new spray can of grey paint primer malfunctioned, burst off and sprayed my face with force, so I inhaled some paint and fumes. Of course I immediately threw it away from me onto the lawn and it continued to discharge its entire contents until empty, which meant there were further fumes and paint flying about in the air. I have gone to the doctors as I have a tight, sore chest, sore throat and shorter breaths. I've been prescribed a Ventolin inhaler as well as an anti-inflammatory inhaler to use for the next month or so if I don't see an improvement over the next few days. The doc said there's not much I can do except wait for my body to process the toxins, and hopefully I won't develop pneumonia from the chemical exposure. Just wondering if there is anything else I can do so help my lungs recover? I.e. inhaling steam or eucalyptus or use expectorants?

My chest hurts and I've also vomited since seeing the doctor this afternoon. I feel all sticky when I swallow and cough. Just wish there was something else I could do as this is rather unpleasant...

Thank you for your help :-)

Milk thistle is good, though I wouldn't use Jarrow's.  But a combination liver cleanse is better.  There are many good ones.  Bupleurum liver cleanse by Planetary Formulas is good, as is Enzymatic Therapy's milk thistle blend.  For the chest symptoms, try Planetary Formula's mullein formula -- it should help clear the lungs a bit faster.  Good luck.

Add more natural antioxidants. Apples, tomatoes and oranges are especially helpful in nourishing the lungs, Add carrots, yellow squash and dark, leafy greens for their lung-protective carotenoids, Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and keep nasal passages moist, Eat whole soy foods the phytoestrogens they contain may have cancer-protective effects throughout the body,Keep in mind that antioxidants and carotenoids from foods are your best source. While supplemental mixed carotenoids may offer some benefit, you should avoid taking isolated beta-carotene, especially if you are, or were, a smoker  higher doses may actually increase the risk of lung cancer.
Buy Jarrow Formulas Milk Thistle it helps cleanse the liver
