Hemhorragic and Herbs

I want to first apologize for all of the questions. I've had two strokes (I'm 39.) and this last one has really "done me in". I want to learn a lot about herbs for I don't like prescriptions.
Could you please help with my main concerns of balance, slow movement and loss of sensation?

Thanks so much for your time!!

Thanks everyone! Actually my strokes were from a cavernous hemangioma (a collection of blood vessels in the deep part of the brain. It has been removed.) that burst.

I don't have a history of high BP or high cholesterol.

Thanks again!

If you've had two strokes, you're beyond anything we can help you with.  We don't know if you have high blood pressure or low, what meds you're on, you obviously have cholesterol issues.  I would coordinate this with a naturopath and your cardiovascular specialist and not try to do this on your own.

Piracetam and choline. They are not herbs but they work wonderful to recover from a stroke and help prevent another stroke.

Hawthorn (Crataegus) contains a combination of flavonoids that can protect the heart against oxygen deprivation and the development of abnormal rhythms. It dilates coronary blood vessels therefore improving the flow of blood to the heart. It strengthens the heart muscle and works to help the body rid itself of excess salt and water.  It reduces blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, and brings down high blood pressure. Choose a standardized extract containing 1.8 percent vitexin-2 rhamnosides. I would also consider Arjuna - Arjuna, is an important Ayurvedic herb, is a coronary vasodilator. It protects the heart, strengthens circulation, and helps to maintain the tone and health of the heart muscle. It is also useful in stopping bleeding and to promote healing after a heart attack or a stroke. Tumeric, onions, ginger, soy are all god stuff for your heart, brain and cholesterol.

I think the most important herb to point out is Hawtorn since it suit your condition and might be extremely useful for you. The other suggestions are also important and I would also include them to prevent any heart condition, another stroke and to maintain a general well-being.

Hawtorn, tumeric, ginger and Ginkgo biloba are all good herbs for you.

Potassium and magnesium is all good just don't forget the vitamin D if you lack sun exposure (at least 1,000UI). Did you know that a full sun exposure of 30 to 1 hour at noon can give you up to 10,000UI? Consider this. D haves an extremely long half-life but don't take it for grant.

If you want my extra advice i would consider Green+ Daily Detox powder formula, I can't live without it, it is just GREAT.

PS:  (Of course, always check with your own Doctor first before starting any new treatment plan, including anything mentioned above)
