Treatment for stomach parasites

Hi,

I have been living in Latin America for the last year and along the way I have contracted some sort of intestinal issue.  I contracted this in Bogota (Colombia).  I probably contracted them around 4 months ago, but I didn't realise that it was a doctor worthy issue until in Rio, when I passed a bloody stool.  The doctor there provided me a medicine to kill the parasites (his diagnosis) for 3 days which loosened everything up (I was bloated and constipated prior - struggling to fully pass everything - this went slightly the other way), and turned my yellow an insanely luminous yellow shade (think glowstick yellow!).

I was then prescribed what I believed to have been 2 months of lonium...however I only received 1 months supply.

Everything was back to normal whilst on the medicine, however post the course (which I believe to have ended prematurely) the issues have returned.

Symptoms - bloating, small stools (tiny marbles), the feeling that it is "at the gates" and not passing, mucusy type secretions amongst the stools....and now occasional watery explosions with loads of the little marble excretions.

Last night when I was drinking a salty drink (on a first date), it came on strong and I became dizzy in the bathroom and nearly blacked out...prior to a thorough marble and water evacuation, post of which I felt MUCH better.  I also sweated an incredible amount in that short period.  Suffice to say the date was brought to an abrupt end.

Can someone point me in the direction of what medication to buy to kill off these little nightmares once and for all?  I am in Mexico, so I can get whatever is required...I just need to target it properly.

What you need is a doctor's diagnosis that is definitive before you do anything, given that the first doctor's Rx didn't work.  Maybe it's not parasites.  You need to know what you're dealing with if you want to know how to treat it.
