Keep in mind cranberry juice only works if it has no sugar in it. Sugar feeds infections. But you still need to know if you have an infiection; if not, none of the above remedies will help, but if you do have UTI problems there are a lot of herbs out there that can help. The most commonly used are goldenseal, olive leaf, dandelion leaf, uva ursi, but again, it depends on what you actually have and without getting a diagnosis none of us can help you.
You might try drinking lots of cranberry juice for a few weeks; it has stopped an early UTI in myself once. Also, take the time you need to go to the bathroom;holding urine in might cause build up of bacteria. If you can't go to the bathroom when it's busy at work empty your bladder before it gets busy, but really your body is more important than your job, you have every right to go to the bathroom when you need to. Garlic has antibiotic properties and thyme is antiseptic. Eat as many fresh garlic cloves as you can each day and make some thyme tea a couple times a day for a week or so. As much as I personally dislike going to the doctor, UTI and kidney infections are serious, so go if you are able to since you are having kidney pain and low urine output at this point.
Good Luck!
are you drinking enough water ,. its so hot in the summer , drink a lot of water and fluids ..start off now by downing some , what color is the urine the darker it is the more dehydrtaed you may be ....
None of us can help you without a diagnosis. You might not want to do what the doc tells you, but you do need to find out whether you have an infection or not.
